Transfers
Move stock between zones and branches with transfer workflows.
What Are Transfers?
Transfers move stock between zones. This can be within the same branch (e.g., receiving to main floor) or between different branches (e.g., warehouse to retail store).
Creating a Transfer
- Go to Transfers tab
- Click "Create Transfer"
- Select source zone (where items are coming from)
- Select destination zone (where items are going to)
- Add items and quantities to transfer
- Add optional notes (reason for transfer, shipping info)
- Save as draft or submit
Note: Validation: You cannot transfer more than available in the source zone.
Completing Transfers
After items physically arrive at the destination, open the transfer, review quantities, and click "Complete". If quantities differ (damaged items, shortages), adjust as needed before confirming.
