Company Profile
Configure your company name, logo, currency, timezone, date format, number format, and inventory mode.
Company Profile Settings
Your company profile contains basic information that appears throughout the app.
- Company Name: Your business name
- Logo: Upload a square image (recommended 256x256 pixels or larger)
- Currency: The currency used for pricing
- Timezone: Used for reports and activity logs
- Date Format: ISO (2026-03-05), US (03/05/2026), or EU (05/03/2026)
- Number Format: International (1,234,567.89), Swiss (1'234'567.89), or Indian (12,34,567.89) — auto-derived from country
Note: Locked after creation: Currency, number format, and data region cannot be changed after company creation because they affect historical records.
Inventory Mode
Each workspace runs in one of two modes, set during onboarding and changeable later by the workspace owner under Settings → Workspace features.
- Retail — products this workspace sells. Items carry a sell price and (optionally) a member price; movements use sales vocabulary; reports surface revenue, margin, and member-tier splits; bundles are sellable with their own bundle price.
- Internal — items this workspace uses, issues, consumes, loans, distributes, or tracks. No sale price, no revenue surfaces, internal movement vocabulary, kits in place of bundles. If cost tracking is on, it reads as Unit cost / replacement value, not a margin partner.
There is intentionally no mixed mode. Reporting semantics stay clean by separating sales-driven and internal-tracking workflows. Teams that need both should create a separate workspace for each.
Switching modes
Owners can switch a workspace between retail and internal at any time. The switch shows a confirmation dialog because it reshapes reports, labels, and exports.
Note: Switching does not delete data. Sell price, member price, and bundle price are preserved on disk and reappear if you switch back to retail. Historical activity-log rows recorded under the previous vocabulary stay readable.
