AI Import Engine
Spreadsheet headers never match your inventory schema — Upload any CSV or Excel file and let AI map columns, resolve conflicts, and validate before import
Auto min/max calculation
Reorders are reactive and always late — Research-based reorder points that adjust to your actual sales velocity by branch
Expiry tracking
Date-sensitive SKUs expire on shelves — Zone-level expiry dates with automatic near-expiry monitoring across all locations
Zone-level tracking
Teams cannot find stock quickly across locations — Every unit lives in a named zone — store floor, backstock, dispatch — with precise counts
Bundle management
Gift packs and sets are manually tracked — Define sets as bundles so component availability is always visible
Variant management
Size and color variations are tracked as disconnected items — Group sizes, colors, and other variations under one parent item with independent SKU and quantity per variant
Related item links
Staff miss cross-sell suggestions because related item stock is not visible at POS — Link accessories and complementary products to primary items for instant cross-sell stock visibility
Offline mobile app
Counts happen in low-signal environments — Count and adjust stock offline, then sync automatically when back online
Activity logs
No audit trail for shrinkage investigations — Full audit trail of every adjustment, transfer, and status change with user attribution
Accounting integrations
Financial reconciliation requires manual data entry — Connect to QuickBooks, Zoho Books, or Sage to auto-sync items and inventory changes
05 — FAQ
Quick answers to what retail teams typically ask before setting up Stocklyst.
Yes. Create a branch for each store and your warehouse, then use zones like "Online Reserved" and "Store Floor" to separate stock by channel. Transfers between branches track every movement.
Each variant is a separate item with its own SKU and quantity. Use the built-in variant linking feature to group sizes, colors, and other variations under one parent item with attribute-based navigation across the variant group.
Create dedicated "Returns Hold" and "Damage Hold" zones. When items come back, transfer them to the appropriate zone. Adjustment reason codes track whether items are restocked, scrapped, or returned to vendor.
The mobile app works fully offline. Count, adjust, and scan inventory without connectivity, then sync everything when you reconnect.
Use the AI Import Engine — upload your CSV or Excel file, let AI map your columns to Stocklyst fields, validate the results, then import. Most teams migrate in under a day.
